Which injection can be given intracardiac apart from adrenaline???

No drug should be given rather i say Why there is need to give intracardiac injections ???? For example we will see about adrenaline Demerits 1 . introduction of surface infection into heart .....As it is given in emergency and no surface cleaning done . 2 While giving intracardiac inj we use to aspirate the syringe to confirm that tip of needle is in cardiac chamber . BUT Suppose tip of needle is in one of coronaries and we aspirate ...Blood comes and we assume that tip of needle is in chamber Now we inject adrenaline That can cause intense coronary spasm . 3 Now while inserting needle in the heart we can injure coronaries ....Life time threat of cardiac muscle hypoperfusion . Now in an emergency situation we can inject adrenaline into myocardial muscle that can cause permanent necrosis of that muscle . Lastly injecting adrenaline intracardiac has no drastically proved advantage over giving adrenaline IV or SC

Papaverine is a vasodilator that relaxes smooth muscles in your blood vessels to help them dilate (widen). This lowers blood pressure and allows blood to flow more easily through your veins and arteries. Papaverine is used to treat many conditions that cause spasm of smooth muscle. How to take Papaverine is injected into a muscle, or into a vein through an IV. A healthcare provider will give you this injection. When injected into a vein, papaverine must be given slowly (over 1 or 2 minutes) to prevent vein irritation or other side effects. Overdose symptoms may include weakness, drowsiness, dizziness, vomiting, double vision, sweating, warmth or redness, fast heartbeats, and uncontrolled eye movement. What to avoid This medicine may impair your thinking or reactions. Be careful if you drive or do anything that requires you to be alert.
