World Schizophrenia Day

Schizophrenia is a severe and debilitating brain and behavior disorder affecting 24 million people globally. Symptoms of Schizophrenia commonly begin between the ages of 16 and 30. Men tend to experience symptoms earlier than women. Schizophrenia patients are 2 to 3 times more likely to die early than the general population. How likely is it for schizophrenia to be passed along to later generations?
