Its confirmed schwanomma

60 years male with complaining of pain in left mid planter aspect as shown in picture but pain is so intense since 5 to 6 months because of covid today he arrived for management due to un tolerable pain as scan done on 19 April measuring mass of 3.5 x 1.5 cm soft tissue intensity been commented What may be the swelling cause and diagnosis ? Any way I'm doing excission and sending for HPE.

Found to be in connected with nerve may be schwanomma waiting for hpe report i will conclude. In 4 days time.

Swelling appears to be infected bursa with transverse fasciitis Yes excision is right step and send for hpe
Suspicious shadow mri do excision & hp what about core biopsy then after diagnosis we can plan surgery
D/D 1.Morton's Neuroma 2.Fibroma or neurofibroma 3.Ganglion cyst 4.Schwanomma,

Likely to be benign Otherwise radiologist would have opined Excision and HPE the right step Consider possibilities of Foreign body granuloma Or Epidermal inclusion cyst
But intra op examination it was connected to nerve sheath

Compatible with neural/nerve sheath lesion.. Neurofbroma/Schwannoma
