20 yr old male fever for 15 days followed by massive bleeding PR. Colonoscopy revealed multiple ulcers in the terminal ileum and caecum, as well as ulcers in Rectal .. we have taken biopsy reports are awaited , possibilities ?

Features of Crohn's but Rectal sparing is the feature which favours Ulcerative colitis....can it be typhoid ulcers? Is the fever resolved or still present?

Fever resolved , typhoid related ulcer s is another possibility

crohn's more likely.

rectal involvement favours crohn's disease dd typhilitis , ulcerative colitis

Looks like crohn's. D/D Ulcerative colitis very unlikely to be typhoid ulcer. Fever may be due to secondary infection. Please let us know the biopsy report.
