Loose stools in newborn are most probably cases of gastrocolic reflux. Foremilk is rich in water n is to quench the thirst of the n hindmilk is rich in fat which is to quench the Hunger. If the mother Is giving only foremilk. Baby will have osmotic diarrhea. Just give enterogermina 1 bottle once daily for 3 days n counselling of mother.

It's normal . Give assurance to mother .encourage her to breast feed always on demand .don't mix other .tell her to xpress her milk once in a while .

It's normal ,no medicine required. Reassurance and counciling required to her . Improve General health and personal hygiene of both baby and mother.

There could be lactose overload.. Probably from foremilk - Hindmilk imbalance, patient education on breast feeding is vital like increasing the length of time the baby takes breastfeeding on each breast.. Then give some reassurance.. Only opt for pharmacological management when nonpharmacological management fails.

Mothers who are breastfeeding might need to adjust their own diet to avoid any foods that could trigger diarrhea in their babies.
