Nabothian cyst

30yr old/ Female Chief Complaints Lower abdominal pain since few weeks Investigations USG: Left ovary shows 4.3 * 3.9 simple cyst. E/O: 1.0 0.8 cm and 0.8 0.7 cm nabothian cyst in the posterior wall of cervix. Management Looking for valuable opinion. Management?? ??

Do UPT first. Do p/s examination and rule out any discharge or local infections. Take pap smear. Do URE. Give her a course of antibiotics and vaginal tablets if local infection is present along with antispasmodics. Check repeat scan after 2 months.

-- Nebothian's cyst are the signs of chronic pelvic inflammation -- cap Doxycycline BD for 14 days -- antiinflammatory + serrasiopeptidase BD for 14days -- Seitz bath

Likely incidental finding. Look at symptomatology of pain to likely localise cause. Get pap smear done. Get urine routine. Treat like pid for now.
