Herpes Zoster

58 years old female - a known diabetic and hypertensive on regular treatment. Developed these lesions since 4 days . The pictures were sent on WhatsApp as part of telemedicine. Opinion please To me it appears to be Herpes Zoster involving the trigeminal nerve

Absolutely you are correct dr Praveen Yograj Lesions are vesicular distributed on forehead Are herpes zoster Pt is diabetic needs strict control Rx acyclovir 800mg 5times a day for 7days and tapper off gradually and keep on maintenance dose Locally acyclovir oint frequently Tab azithromycin 500mg 1od for 5days Tab Levocetrizine5mg 1bd Tab gabapentin 300mg+nortryptiline 10mg 1od at bedtime NSAIDs as required
