41 years old male - with history of these lesions over both lower limbs - since last 5 months. Asymptomatic- but now pruritus since 1 months Apparently they look like Tinea,corporis lesions But Psoriasis is a possibility Opinions from experts are welcomed Particularly from Dermatologists

Psoriasis vulgaris..? tinea infections... Management.. Tab multivitamins antioxidants trace elements.. Tab Itraconazole 200 mg od 15 days.. Bath keto soap.. Clobetasol ointment used.. Coconut oil use.. Alovira gel use.. Keep the skin areas Sterile gauge... tab levocetrizine 5 mg BD.. calamine lotion use...

Psoriasis Occurs mainly joint position. Near knee joint and knee pith. Treatment consist of antifungal antiallergetic topical cream and immunosuppressive drugs, and vitamin A, D, C. And skin care.

Possibility of Psoriasis vulgaris is there . Red or purple in dark skin ,itchy , inflamed skin Commonly seen elbow and thigh even whole body can be Involved but this case lower part of thigh involved therefore you are right at first look it look like Tinea strong possibility of Psoriasis vulgaris is on second thought. Reassurance and counciling required because till date it is incurable.
