45 year old female with a history of Hashimoto’s Thyroiditis, joint pain, and migraine cluster headaches. Developed a solid reddened area on inner calf several days ago that has now appeared to have developed a bull's eye like appearance in a matter of days. Would you treat this person for Lyme disease? If so, is it recommended to just start Doxy or do blood work? I have read ELISA can offer false-positive results versus Western Blot. Thoughts or recommendations?
