Blood pressure has no direct relationship with nocturnal micturition, except if diuretic is prescribed at night time it can increase frequency of micturition at night time This patients nocturia can be because of benign prostatic hyperplasia Adv USG KUB - look for prostate size and post void residue Urine routine to look for infection

Rule out ckd as nocturia is early presenting complaint of ckd Rule out dm, htn as they are risk factors for ckd Also rule out uti Do cbc rft urine rm usg kub with prostate with post urine Also rule out bph as it common in elderly

Old age pt c/o nocturnal polyurea D/d 1 BPH 2 DM2T pt is hypertensive must be on antihypertensives so if combination of diuretic is taken at evening will induce nocturnal diuresis

DM and CKD should be rule out with HBA1C & Renal profile. Check PSA for any level of prostatic involvement.
