Thyroid swelling . Lipoma. Cyst . Ad. Usg study . Fnac. Experts surgeons opinion.

It is a large lump in front of neck Adv USG of lump CT scan of chest FNAC of lump

Thyroid tumour Benign Malignant Ad FNAC for HPE

Swelling midline neck since childhood D/D- Cystic hygroma Thyroglossal cyst ( but swelling in pic is too lower down) Lipoma Vascular malformation Retention cyst Diagnosis: USG for characterisation of lump- solid/cystic, vascular/avascular, benign/ suspecious of malignancy, tissue of origin if possible If diagnostic - Sonography guided FNAC/FNB/ Corecut biopsy from representative tissue ( only after ruling out vascular malformation, n in case of doubtful character i. e. Tumour/ TB etc) Treatment: surgery vs medical management depending upon imaging/ HPE whichever is more suggestive

Malignant Tumor Thyroid Tumor Advice: U/s neck and throat FNAC and Biopsy Montoux test Cbc CRP ESR Thyroid profile If patient has pain ....pain management required

Lipoma Or bening tumor Usg Or CT neck to conclude

Long Terms Lump suggestive of Benign Lesion May be Lipoma & Thyroid pathology Adv:- TFT USG NECK

Do USG first...then go for futher decision

Management, as per dicussions. Would consider Thyroid malignancy
