89 y/o woman scratched by her dog 3 weeks ago. Completed abx but still has a tender, raised nodule with surrounding erythema. No pruritis, growth or discharge. No systemic s/s of disseminated infection or neurologic s/s.
? Bartonellosis Several species of bacteria called Bartonella causes zoonotic disease. Dog or cat scratch can cause human Bartonella infection called Bartonellosis. Clinically resemble pyoderma.
