This is a very common problem Usually no medication is given because of side effects They are sent in main stream of school Occupational therapy can be given

After severe cardiovascular diseases have been ruled out, Methyl Phenidate is considered to be the drug of choice. After the age of 16, there is spontaneous remission in less than 40% of the children. 40-60% of children go on to develop Adult ADHD, (predominantly inattention). There is no known cure currently. Standard treatments for ADHD in children include medications, behavior therapy, parenting skills management and education services. These treatments can alleviate many of the symptoms of ADHD, but they don't cure it.
