A 13year old girl complains of pain and swelling at the corner of both great toes,lesion shown in picture. Suggest diagnosis and management.

Thanks to all doctors for good answers. This is a case of Ingrowing Toe Nail compounded by improper cutting of nail embeds into lateral nail fold causing Paronychia managed by either lifting the nail,partially removing the nail or removing the nails and tissue if problem repeatedly on the same site with proper antibiotic and analgesic coverage.

Paronychia. Warm compresses, cephalexin and local mupirocin

In browsing toe nail with secondary infection. Treat the infection .Surgical removal of the side of nail with corresponding nail matrix. @Dr. L.m. Patel
