A 20 y/o/m came with c/o persistent cough

Chief complaints- A 20 y/o/m came with c/o persistent cough for 2 months. His cough gets worse when he goes outside. Trouble sleeping due to cough. History- He took an initial course of amoxicillin (on doctor’s advice) 1 month back, but it did not work. He had recurrent episodes of bronchitis during childhood b/w 2-5 years. Surgery- He removed his appendix 1 year ago due to appendicitis. Also, removed his tonsils when he was 6 years old. Family history- his father had heart attack 2 years ago and his brother had hay fever 6 months ago. Vitals- BP- 120/75 mm Hg, RR- 17/min, Pulse- 80/min, temp- 96 °F Examination- Respiratory- chest clear & rest NAD, CVS-NAD, Throat examination- slight congestion but otherwise normal, CNS- NAD Investigation-Chest x-ray report is normal Spirometry is advised. Please guide about the diagnosis and management

It seems from the history pt is having. allergic bronchitis associated with bronchospam particularly at night when he is in lying position. Avoid exposure to dust Salbair inhaler 2pups twice daily Budamate inhaler 200 2 pups twice daily Tab Montek LC one tab daily to continue for one month When the spasm and cough susides then Budamate to continue.

?Asthma ?Allergic bronchitis needs to be evaluated. Get history of seasonal variations of symptoms. Kindly Attach the chest x ray if possible. Response to bronchodilators wil also aid in the diagnosis.
