Dermatitis (xanthoma)

A 4 yrs old boy has this type of lesion since 2 yrs, no other complaints, please opine about Dx & Rx

Tuberous xanthomas Vit A solution orally and locally. Multivitamin and antioxidant orally. Surgical intervention like lasar cryo therapy or cauterization required to remove reoccurrence is common. Needs further investigation and evaluation to know the cause and treat accordingly.

Tuberous xanthomas . The presence of tuberous xanthomas typically indicates an underlying disorder of lipid and/or cholesterol metabolism. It response to lipid lowering drugs.
