Type 2DM, HHS?

A 70yr F c/c fatigueness since 4d O/E afebrile, conscious oriented. B/L corneal opacifications present RBS- 339mg/dl. Dx? Further management?

Arcus Senilis doesn't require any treatment....specially in older adults.. What needs attention is uncontrolled sugar which will leads to many complications.... Get the pt started on OHA & blood sugar monitoring with fundus examination & urine for albumin

Arcus Senilis..? IOP check.. Diabetic patients.. Urine examination.. BP check.. Then treatment start...

Uncontrolled DM , usually in HHS sugars are quite high. Suggested hydration, titration of insulin doses, check urine ketones, TSH and ECG. Corneal opacity is arcus senilis, cataract.
