A young(20) female architect student, suffering from this skin problem since 1 year. In past she tried allopathy but complains reappears shortly after she discontinued steroid ointments. According to her, It starts with red spots with sever itching and then skin turns to black. Aggravation specially in summer and exposure to sun. According to me it look like Eczema. but not sure. Need help in Diagnosis. ??
Allergic Contact Dermatitis. Unknowingly repeated exposure to allergen is the cause of recurrence of symptoms. Obviously, avoiding contact with the allergen is the permanent solution. Otherwise, application of inert substance like petroleum jelly which will act as a barrier between the allergen and skin should also relieve from symptoms to some extent.
It's Allergic Dermatitis. .. Go for thorough case taking. . Only similimum can gives best results. .
