an elderly lady has severe itching lesions on fingers especially for fingers since 4 months. Spot diag.
ICD / ACD Levocet 5 mg TDS Wysolon 10 mg TDS for 15 days than BD Multi vitamin and antioxidants orally. Remove irritants or contact causes allergy or protect area with cotton gloves. Clean area with diluted betadin lotion and apply calamine then lobate s+ mupriocin oint locally BD. Sulphur LA 2% oint at bedtime. Maintain nutrition hydration and hygiene. Salicylic acid + lactic acid locally after washing area with sada bi carb with Luke warm water in morning. Green leafy vegetables and fresh fruit and plenty of liquid daily.

ACD. IRRITANT CONTACT DERMATITIS.. Avoid exposure to allergen irritant pollution dust strong soap detergent.. Topically moisturisers are useful.. Topically steroids..SOS.. Orally Antihistaminics Levocetirizine/Bepotastine for itching.. Overall health improvements with multivitamins antioxidants is Always better
ACD/ICD Wash with NS Betadine Soln Tab Montelucast Fexofenadine (10+120mg) OD Clobetasol Salicylic acid Urea ointment to apply locally Tab Prednisolone 20mg QDS×4days Avoid allergens irritants pollutants. Maintain personal hygiene.
