Best way to treat a COVID +ve pregnant patient? One is 8 months and another 3 months

Dear dr Ajeet Pal Singh Irrespective of her status if she covid positive need to be treated as per protocols and in quarantine Her kids may be left with her only and if they also goes positive to be treated by plain paracetamol syp Mother has to be investigated and treated

Supportive treatment as per protocol. Avoid using favipiravir as it's not recommend in pregnancy. Inhaled bronchodilators ,steroids, oral steroids, vit c, zinc, ecosprin can be considered.

Strict observations for saturation and any complaints. SpO2 must be above 95%. If dyspnoea, fever not controlled by paracetamol then admission adviced .otherwise tab vit C1000/day, tab zinc50 mg/day, vit D3 60000 IU stat, paracetamol SOS for fever, healthy food and strict quarantine for 15 days with one visit midweek preferably on telemedicine.

Irrespective of her pregnancy status she will be treated as per protocols of COVID virus Infection as directed by ICMR. In few cases the baby gets positive baby will also be treated as per protocols and assessment and evaluation of both will needs immediate attention to avoid any eventuality.

Get them admitted in to COVID hospital

As per protocols of WHO regarding Corona positive Pregnant females .
