Breast lump

Chief Complaint A 39 y/o female presented with a lump in the right breast for 4 months. The lump is painful during menstruation. History She has h/o diabetic retinopathy & thyrotoxicosis for the past 3 years, and is antithyroid medication. Examination Examination shows a hard, immobile, painless mass in the breast measuring 4-5 cm. No discharge. The left breast is normal. Investigations Mammography showed increased fibrofatty densities in both breasts with a subareolar nodular dense mass in the right breast. Treatment Please give your opinion.

Benign ductal adenoma breast Better to go adenactomy or lumpactomy before it turns malignant as lady is not only having thyrotoxicosis but diabetic retinopathy As her history is not encouraging Adv surgery

Hard immobile mass is indicating malignancy Adv Biopsy Histopathology PET CT CT chest abdomen to look for metastatic disease This patient looks like locally advanced breast cancer She will be good candidate for neoadjuvant chemotherapy followed by surgery

Suggested Triple test approach.. Clinical examination... of breast lump.. including other breast and axilla Mammogram Fnac..... core biopsy Confirmed by lumpectomy.... and hpe

SUGGESTIVE OF FIBROADENOMA. FURTHER EVALUATION REQUIRED.
