Clavicular fracture - in a terminally ill patient - Treatment

72 years old female - a known case of T2DN with hypertension with CKD on regular dialysis ..Also having massive Ascitis-whixh she also gets,aspirated for dypnoea. The attendants know the prognosis .Now she had fall yesterday and complains of severe shoulder pain .Tab Tramodol was given for pain and X- ray wS advised . Comments on X- ray - and how to manage this fracture considering end stage renal disese and co - morbidities .

It seem to be an old fracture of the acromioal end of clavicle . Considering the age and other associated disease, as itis an old fracture to be treated by conservative strapping and let it United with this displaced position

Fracture lateral end of clavicle Fracture is lateral to conoid tubercle hence a stable injury. Nonetheless looking at the condition conservative treatment is the only option. Strapping with an arm sling should suffice

Pt is terminally ill Xray suggest #lateral one third clavicular end Sir only close reduction if need to be and figure of 8 But i think nothing dine is best step at this stage

Lateral one-third clavicle#.considering age and comorbidities,no option except conservative management with brace and sling.
