Although measles vaccine doesn't serve the purpose..but mumps and rubella needs vaccination..so mmr is a must..also it enhances the innate immunity against non specific viral infection as what we learned in this pandemic

These days mmr vaccine is given as early as 9 months. Though before 9 months measles is rare. N its diagnosis is mainly clinical. Though it can still b confirmed by PCR test IgM measles antibodies
