Early intestinal obstruction after lap appendectomy. A curious cause.

A very interesting case. 35 /F presented with acute appendicitis. Underwent Lap appendectomy. On 3rd POD she developed features of intestinal obstruction. Initially managed conservatively. But not improved. 5th POD CECT could reveal small bowel obstruction. But couldn’t reveal the reason. Taken for diag Lap. On putting the scope a loop of small bowel herniating through a defect in left mesosalpinx. Hernia reduced and defect closed laparoscopically.
