f/62 have tender small firm movable lump just above lt lat malleolar region with soft flabby non tender swelling over adjoining surrounding area of it, for last 2 year during month of may -June, subside by antibiotics & nsaid p/h of carpal tunnel syndrome and was on steroids therapy for long term what could be it & management.?

Lymphangitis with filariasis Tab Diethylcarbamazine 100 TID for 21 days Tab Aceclofenac Paracetamol saeropeptidase BD for 10 days Tab Prednisolone 10 TID for 2 weeks in Tapering manner Tab Ranitidine 150 BD Tab Multivitamins OD Crepes Bandage application and keep the extremities elevated.

Unilateral ? looks like cellulitis !

Ankle seems to red,possibly a momoarthritis Ankle,Elderly onset rheumatoid arthritis can be possibility secondly gouty arthritis can come like monoarthritis ,kindly go for baseline investigations CBC ESR crp Rf do PDUS ankle and anti CCP and uric acid further MRI ankle can be done that will help and of course if there is collection that can be send for hematology examination
