What is this? How to diagnose it? What is the modality of treatment? She is 66 years female, Not diabetic, Not hypertensive, No other ailments, Only she has underwent Hysterectomy 25 years back.

Good answers... Yes it's GANGLION CYST... After surgery, rest as much as possible. This will encourage the site of cyst removal to heal. Limit movement of hand and wrist to minimize pain and avoid irritation of the removal site. Minimal, nonrepetitive activity is okay after a cyst removal, such as writing or carrying light objects.

Ganglion from the tendon sheath. On flexing the wrist. It will become taught. Cystic and tense. Surgery is the t/t.

Ganglion.... Intralesional hyaluronidase injection followed by fine needle aspiration. Apply pressure with a crepe bandage for 24 hrs following the injection...
