black gum disease this is necrotizing periodontal disease and is a serious health issue. causes :improper health care some medicarions like tricyclic antidepressants, immunodeficiency status , stress, viral infections, smoking etc. if not treated timely can cause serious health problems to bones cartilage etc. treatment: 1)brushing twice or thrice daily

continue 2)gargling with lukewarm saltwater.3) quit smoking and tobacco chewing 4) multivitamins 5) antibiotics like amoxi clav + metro 6) dentist opinion

Mucous melanoma is symptom less and that is why they increase in size. Pain bleeding may take in late stages. The lesion is may be metastatic. Treatment 1) decarbazine with interleukine2 2) radiotherapy3) surgery.

A rare c/o melanoma mucosal melanoma,on the typical site maxillary gingiva other site is palate,difficult to treat with survival rate of 2 to 5 yrs,its thickness or volume decides prognosis.should look for metastasis

It looks like a mixed type melanoma more of macular +less nodular type.HPE,screening for metastasis in head but (also to r/o same lesion elsewhere in head area like eye etc..,),llung ,liver. surgery(may have to remove gingiva and bony part too),chemo,radiotherapy,immunotherapy.( can additional laser ablation with surgery give benefit ?i hope oncologists will guide us)thanx Dr. kaji for a nice case

It is a rare disease of gum Mocous melanoma. Lesions more than 1.5 cm in length should be suspected and biopsied .
