How to manage nasal bleeding in RTA patients And what should be further investigations ??

A c/o RTA H/o nasal bleeding First take xray skull AP lateral and Tones view and r/o any FRACTURE of skull specifically 9f base of skull as it can be a c/o head injury So far bleeding from nose is concerned if bone fracture is r/o than nasal compression and icepacks will help

Nasal packing Cadisper C 2 tds Nsaid orally Antibiotics orally Ad X-ray skull to see nasal bones & treatment accordingly Ref to ENT surgeon

Soaked gauge with xylocaine or simple packing with head high in RTA . On reaching hospital all investigation and evaluation including x Ray, MRI brain . Treat as per reports.
