Hypertension management

A 50yr old female, known hypothyroid on regular medication was diagnosed as hypertensive 2yrs back and used Telvas3d, Now using Telma-AM since few months as BP recordings were<=120/80mmHg. Kindly give opinions/recommendations 1) Was it a good option to change the drug or dose? 2) Can the brand of drug be changed (generic or different company) if the dose and composition is same? 3) Give the best hypertensive Management of this case!

Any regimen which controls blood pressure is best regimen for that patient Brand is personal preference As long as blood pressure is controlled, patient is on best regimen!

Dear Sushma , still you are student, my suggestion to you that don't go after Reports like thyroid, pcod,cholesterol unless you are clinically confirm, these reports are nowadays present in almost all patients, Remember that you should treat patients BUT not reports. So try to be good clinician for your self satisfaction along with economy gains.
