Patient of iron deficiency anemia with hepatosplenomegaly proper investigation done to exclude all possible causes one by one to reach final diagnosis welcome Dr Madhulkar Deshpande

Nice presentation sir. Definitely nutritional deficiency is major cause of iron deficiency anaemia not only in childrens but also in antenatal mothers. There are so many mother at periphery of India having Hb 5 to 7 even we have encountered Hb 2 gm also. So obviously if mother is anaemic then baby definitely will have low iron reserve. Education will improve poverty and as economy improves gradually and slowly nutrition also improves.

A case with unusual combination of findings. Extensively investigated and very well discussed. Nothing is left to ambiguity. Excellent presentation. Great job, Dr Madhukar Deshpande ,Congratulations !!
