Itching from 3 wks & the pt use candid B oint and take tab flucos DT (50) 1 tab for 2 wks.. and the lesion partly cured but after that the pt is given KZ cream and flucos DT (50) tab 1 and 1/2 tab once weekly.. pt apply KZ cream for only 3 days & take flucos (50) 1 and 1/2 tab single dose and then the lesion increases.. now what will he do?

Tinea corporis. Candid B has steroid , decreases the response . Give oral itraconazole instead 200 mg OD for 2 weeks.

i feel its tinea only. but pic now is bit modified. may b to keto cream its not responding well , thdn change to ablnother anti fungal like terbest cream bd application sertaconazole . msy b it ll respond

tinea imbricata . superfical fungal infection . t is associated with Trichophyton concentricum.

Tenia imbricata

Try tab griseofulvin as oral antifungal. It will give better response. And change topical antifungal to sertaconazole
