Knee pain for 2 weeks - Osteoarthritis?

Chief Complaint A 67 y/o female came with the complaint of the anterior left knee joint pain for 2 weeks which has been increased since 2 days. She described pain as 8/10 and it causes difficulty in walking. She also noted mild left knee swelling and morning stiffness. History She has around 5 years history of HTN, DM & dyslipidemia. No history of trauma to knee. Examination No bone deformity noted. Mild effusion noted in left knee but it is not warm or tender. Pedal pulses were intact . Investigations Patient sent for x-ray. Treatment What are your views on diagnosis and treatment?

Pain in weight bearing and morning stiffness indicated mostly OA..x rays required preferably standing one.

? KNEE ARTHROPATHY.. ? OA .. NEED'S.. BLOOD URINE.. X-RAY STUDY.. MEANWHILE TREAT WITH.. PIROXICAM DT..
