Lichen Planus

Lichen planus pigmentosus Chief Complaints A 45 yr old female has come with skin pigmentation over both feet since 5 yrs. Initially it was pruritic but after taking anti histaminic itching has stopped. No improvement despite taking different T/t at different centers.

Lichen planus.. It occurs when the immune system mistakenly attacks cells of the skin or mucous membranes. LP pigmentosa.. Treatment options may include.. Vitamin A.. Topical corticosteroids.. Topical calcineurin inhibitors such as tacrolimus  (medications that are typically used to treat eczema) Dapsone (a medication used to treat leprosy and skin infections) Skin lightening agents Laser therapy

I dont think its Lichen Planus sir, as lichen planus lesions are raised and follow 6P's - purple, polygonal, pruritic,planar,papules and plaques
