Confirmed diagnosis on the basis of only image...With out supportive investigations and case history is bit difficult. Here it seems to be either Fungal or Schemburg disease Adv.for Potassium Hydroxide test to confirm it to be of Fungal origin. Schamberg's disease or Progressive Pigmented Purpuric dermatitis It is a skin disorder that causes a discoloration of the lower extremities. It usually occurs in the lower extremities and rarely elsewhere. This condition is caused by leaky blood vessels near the surface of the skin. The cause of the leaky capillaries is usually not known.. Drugs are important precipitating factors for Schamberg disease, with acetaminophen the most commonly implicated drug.
