patient h/o convulsion last one year no h/o fever

A 65-year-old man was detected with a small mass under the scalp at the right frontal region. The mass was slowly growing without pain. What can be the possible reason??

presenting a new pathology to the forum.. m/60, had head injury,was operated in small peripheral hospital ,came with heavy infection, pseudomonas resistant to all, took one month to clear, later i did cranioplasty.. came after 6 months with pus discharge, this is epidural empyema.. same organism.. had to remove bone flap and do debridement.. will need revision plasty again at a later date once infection clears
