These days with good care . These babies r surviving more than ever before . Still chances of survival r brisk . Both of them must b suffering hyaline membrane disorder . Check if they have received surfactant therapy . Check their last abg reports .

Seems both babies are high risk babies... Chance of survival is less... Such babies die within 1 week... But Good NICU setup n Expert doctors n Monitoring... make some efforts to survive such babies if babies have no congenital anomalies

A lot of premature babies are surviving and also thrive if the medical care they need is provided timely and correctly. Don't look at the prognosis but at the situation at hand and try best to manage it. Also positioning in NICU is extremely important. Both babies are lying flat with arms to the side and hips in frog leg... This position affects further development. Kindly view the images attached and do the needful . It goes a long way in preventing further complications. Also we use a wedge so that the child has some head elevation, this reduces risk of pneumonia and aspirations. Minimize unnecessary stimulation, nurses and doctor should coordinate so that babies are disturbed least, while suction etc when loud sound is there around find some way to cover the ears, the excessive sensory stimulation is a challenge for pre-emies and sometimes puts them at risk for sensory processing disorders. I wish you and both of them well

Are u use surfactant? If yes then chances more. And if ventilatior settings is low then chance more. But care of ET is major challenge to save kids. Maintain electrolyte and sepsis control is daily routine work. If child is without inotrops then survival is high. So mentioned it.
