Prognosis prediction of Cutaneous vasculitis?
Off & on intense dry itching near both ankle joints with exfoliation. H/o.cutaneous vasculitis with recurrent tender painful swellings both legs & foot symmetrically since last 12 yrs. Once treated by a Dermatologist with temporary relief. History Present age:67 yrs old male,h/o.Pan jarda (tobacco) Chewing since last 25 yrs with pyorrhea and loss of teeth. Wt.81 kg and ht.5'8".Looks healthy and robust. Diagnosis Cutaneous Vasculitis
Pt is obese and overweight BMI seems to be higher somewhere above 32% while required is less than 25 Assess for diabetes and hypercholesterolemia H/o cutaneous vasculitis Adv colour doppler to r/o deep vessels disease Pictures should have been available for better assessment Rx locally lobate-s oint twice daily Tab fexofenadine180mg 1od Keep legs raised If swelling is seen add antiinflamatory Sos oral steroids Prognosis is fair
