Pt age 25/M has erruptions on back... intense itching n burning.. is it herpes?? Suggest Rx Dx

Herpes zoster Acyclovir ORALLY AND LOCALLY. Multivitamin and antioxidant orally. Xylocaine jelly locally. NSAID SOS. Tapering dose of steroid orally. Keep the area clean and covered with sterile gauge.

i appreciate with @Partha sahana sir.. -infact i dont know why there was suggestions for herpes just on burning rash word. -image was blurred too. -infact there is serpiginous border rash with central clearing ,erythematous papules .. -location glabrous skin-inflammatory lesion -Tinea incognito???Tinea corporis? -avoid steroid use.. -go for oral and topical antifungals.

Shingles. Acyclovir 800 mg x 5 times a day.x 8 days. Acyclovir topical. Local anesthetic topical. NSAID. Azithromycine 500.mg 1 tab OD.x 5 days.

Yes,it's Herpes zoster (viral): Acyclovir oint locally & tab orally, Antiinflamatory Nerve tonics Antibiotic orally to prevent secondary bacterial infection

POSSIBLY HERPES INFECTION
