Rule out refractive errors(its much relevant). Check for constipation, worm manifestation, blepharitis, any skin disorder. Blood letting is the best management but patient will not cooperate for leech therapy as far age concern. Eye wash with Triphala- Lodhra kashayam. Applications of Shuthi+ gairika + amalaki paste over closed eyes. Hasta sweda ( warming the area by rubbed hands) Purgation by Avipatty choornam. Surgery ( incision and curettage) is the last option.

There may be Staphylococcal infection may be. Use Puls- 30 for this purpose.

Myopia is a contributing factor for recurrent hordeolum. Blepharitis and pediculosis on eyelashes other possibilities. Rule out Type 1 DM.

Staphysagria 200...single Dose or SILECIA 30 ....BD... Follow up - 5 days...

1)Refraction is essential 2)rule out any local cause of irritation that could lead to chronic eye rubbing.. 3) treat locally with warm compresses and antibiotic drops

Firstly stye is not same as chalazion. Get refraction done Rule out any allergic condition Rule out blepharitis

Check her vision and RBS Hot fomentation Antibiotic eye drop Tds Eye ointment hs

Why vision, ,irrelevant answer to this question, ,there is no vision problem anyway

IN MY OPINION CHALAZION IS CAUSED BY BLOCK SEBUM OF OIL GLANDS NEAR PALPABRAE. HOMOEOPATHIC MEDICINE BELLADONA 30 WORKS OVER SEBUM GLAND , BELLADONA CONTAIN 2 ALKALOIDS BELLADONA AND ATROPIN WHICH WORKS AS A REGULATORY AND VASODILATION OF SEBUM GLAND ANY WHERE OF BODY. ESPECIALLY NEAR SUPERIOR OR INFERIOR PALPABRAE REGION.

Refraction is ESSENTIAL --- I agree with Dr Sabeena

Recurrent Styes may be the sign Bleparitis or Acne Rosacea. Hygiene of face and eye is very important. Homeopathic remedy Staphysagria cures the tendency of Styes.

All measures to control Staphylococcal infection should be taken.
