Rheumatoid Arthritis - Radiology Insights

Diagnosis of rheumatoid arthritis (RA) is based on a combined picture of clinical features, laboratory values, and imaging. Radiography remains the first choice for imaging in RA. It is an inexpensive test and is readily available. The hallmark pattern and distribution of synovial joint involvement clinches the diagnosis.
