onychomycosis with eczematous dermatitis
Sudden development of blisters type lesion over back of knee and between fingers in a 83 yes old male. No paain or itching.
Onychomycosis. A nail fungus causing thickened, brittle, crumbly or ragged nails. Usually, the problems caused by this condition are cosmetic. The most commonly used oral drugs for treatment of onychomycosis is griseofulvin, terbinafine, itraconazole and ketoconazole. The disadvantages of oral antifungal agents are, they require a longer treatment period and they have more side effects, e.g. terbinafine .
