It's a high energy twisting injury of foot/ankle resulting due to sudden inversion injury... Also called as Avulsion fracture of fifth MT base/ dancer's fracture / Pseudo Jones fracture / Tennis Fracture.. There's an avulsed fragment which pulls off due to pull of Peeoneus brevis tendon.. As the fragment is not displaced, conservative treatment can be a good choice.. With Rest and immobilization of foot with below knee cast in slight Eversion... For a period of 4 weeks.. Fibre glass cast gives good results. With pain n anti inflammatory medications..

* peroneus brevis tendon
