A case of cold abscess- a sequelae of empyema necessitatis. No other differential Diagnosis under these circumstances. Treatment is continuation of ATT and anti gravity aspiration of cold abscess with a wide bore needle

CT report shows it is empyema Necesitanace D/D Lipoma Diagnostic aspiration followed by cytology and culture sensitivity and culture for AFB and CBNAAT.

P/O : Tuberculous Empyema Necessitatis/tasis/tans. Advised Aspiration,AFB staining & CBNAAT.

PT TB Pleural collection ,empyema Cold abscess tracking into intramuscular plane outside pleura. Calcifications in spleen, likely to be healed TB infection

Cold abscess -chances more. Dermoid cyst. Lipoma. Sebaceous cyst-least chances. Do FNAC and culture and senstivity for AFB and other microorganism.
