What is the skin disease?
A 21 years old young male came to me with complain of skin rash on whole body since 6 month. Chief Complaints Severe itching, gradually increase the lesions . History No past history. Vitals Normal study. Physical Examination Low back region radiating right side and knee pith the lesions is large area. Investigations No any investigation, if needed?? Please suggest. Diagnosis What is the disease? Please suggest. Management Please suggest???
Tinea Corpus. Clean with ketaconazole shampoo. Micanazoke + Clobetesol + Salicylic acid application. Itaconzole 200 mg 1 OD.x 4 weeks. Allegra 180 mg 1.tab OD x 7 days
Apparently Tinea corporis Tabs fluconazole 150mg 1weekly Ointment lulliconazole locally Foristal1bd
Tinea corporis Common in immunocompromise (DM HIV ) , to rule out if history suggests so. Treatment with topical azoles like Luliconazole , and oral terbinafin with appropriate duration. Also oral antihistamines for itching Advice to maintain hygiene and to keep areas dry
