It is a chronic condition that occurs in women where varicose veins from the below the abdomen within the pelvic region. R/F 1) Pregnancy 2) Previous history SYMPTOMS 1) Dullache 2) Dysmenorrhoea 3) Abnormal bleeding 4) Swelling of vagina or vulva DIAGNOSIS 1) USG pelvis 2) Laparoscopy 3) CT scan TREATMENT 1) NSAIDS 2) Gabapentin plus amytrptyline 3) Pelvic vein embolization(Most sucessful procedure).

Dialated pelvic veins We need to know what are possible causes 1 any external compression like swellings tumors or bulky uterus 2 venous thrombosis at iliac or renal level So far treatment is concerned Nothing is required unless obstructive aetiology
