Necrobiosis lipoidica diabeticorum
An uncommon inflammatory skin condition, often associated with diabetes mellitus, that is characterized by the formation of multiple shiny atrophic lesions thought to be due to collagen degeneration with a granulomatous response, thickening of blood vessel walls, and fat deposition. The lesions are usually found on the leg.
