Profile details : Dr. Sandeep Wasnik is a Joint Replacement, Spine and Minimally Invasive Trauma specialist. Dr. Sandeep Wasnik completed his post graduation from prestigious Seth G. S Medical College and KEM Hospital Mumbai. He completed his training in primary and complex Joint Replacement Surgery from Dr. L. H. Hiranandani Hospital, Mumbai, which is accredited by SICOT (Belgium). He further moved to Mannheim Medical University, Germany, for his fellowship in Knee Replacement Surgeries, and to Carl Gustav University Dresden (Germany), for training in primary and revision Hip Replacement Surgeries. He has worked as an Asst. Prof in Orthopaedics for 1 year at D. Y. Patil Medical College, Pune, and Peoples Medical College, Bhopal (MP), and as a consultant at Sahyadri Hospital, Pune. He has keen interest in medical research and has many international publications mostly in field of Total Knee Replacement surgery to his credit. He has done many national and international presentations in field of Joint Replacement Surgery, and chaired Orthobiologics section for international SICOT conference held in Dubai, 2012. He is the reviewer for Indian Journal of Orthopaedics, International Journal of Sport Medicine (NY, USA) and Journal of Evolution of Medical and Dental Sciences.
