Dr. Ajay Gupta MBBS , MD (Medicine), DNB ( Gastroenterology and Hepatology) Senior Consultant gastroenterologist and hepatologist , Yashoda super speciality hospital , Ghaziabad I am working as Senior consultant gastroenterologist and hepatology since 2000 at Yashoda super speciality hospital Nehru Nagar Ghaziabad . I am performing all diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy, colonoscopy and ERCP. I have special interest in managing chronic hepatitis B and C related liver disorders. I have been treating my patients with standard interferon initially, Subsequently my standard treatment regimen for CHC was pegylated IFN +RBV . With introduction of DAA especially sofosbuvir, now I am treating all HCV related cirrhosis of liver Childs class B & C for last 3 weeks. I am very inquisitive about entire scientific data regarding this NS 5b inhibitor, so that I can manage them more effectively and generate my data. I have been regularly attending all national conferences like INASL , ISG and state level liver conferences. I am giving lectures at various forums in IMA . I am excited to know more about the recent development from principal investigator of trial regarding treatment of HCV . Work experience: during my training at sir Ganga ram hospital , New Delhi I was involved in care and management of patients suffering from various liver disorders .
