I am an osteopath and physiotherapist. Body is a unit. To restore optimal health you need to work on a body as a unit because every part of body is interrelated. if every part of the body has optimal blood supply , proper neural communication and proper drainage ( venous and lymphatic return) then there can be nothing like disease. disease means dis+ease. when any thing in body out of ease then its disease. Structure and function are interrelated. when structure is not proper aligned then it affect function by compromising all above three things at some level. my job is to remove any tension or stress in musculoskeletal framework which compromise with above things so each and every part get proper blood, neural, venous and lymphatic outflow. when all these things are restored body start to heal itself because body has inherent capacity to heal itself.
